The West Surburban Hospital, Oak Park, Illinois organized and created the fully equipped Army Medical Corp 25thEvacuation Hospital over the course of 1942. The 25th staff consisted primarily of local hospital.affiliates as well as others from the area.  They traveled together to Fort Leonard Wood and Fort Ord training and departed to the war zone from California on 20Oct1942.  The number of participants increased steadily. This list is of course incomplete and would benefit from community input of documentation to make corrections or additions. At this time, and at a minimum, I’d like to pursue and gather names of the initial group to list here.
