STORY of the 25th 

Not knowing where they would end up….the well prepared, fully staffed, and medically equipped group of army doctors and nurses from the Oak Park area departed to the war.

 

The 25th was destined to become the first forward evacuation hospital of the allied South Pacific offensive. They found themselves in a coconut grove surrounded by jungle in the remote New Hebrides . . .
